WH West Ham
Re route 299 Stratford - Eastway. I drove this route a few times and it consisted of half of a route 241 shift. If I recall correctly the bus took over and came off at WH garage. I don't remember taking one over at Stratford bus station - but I may be wrong. No ultimate destination was shown as this was a "lazy blind". You left Stratford and went out and back as one journey with 20 minutes stand time in the then VERY dingy bus station. A very boring and underused route designed to service some houses and flats by Temple Meads railway yard.
