Route 306 is indicated as the pre-October 1934 route number. The LOTS info that I have shows 306B - 306D - 306F all becoming Route 242 - with Route 306E (Watford - Barnet - Enfield) becoming Country Route 306 after October 1934. It seems that the 306B - 306D - 306F were entirely disconnected from the 306E - and I can't find a 306 without a suffix pre-October 1934 - but that's the crazy Bassom system for you - Can anyone add to this ?
