This is a replicate of the blind issued to Catford July 1988 of which 120 copies were issued
There were 4 groups to minimise blind length - the length was 46' 10" as it was. The groups were (1) 36B - 141 - 185 -- (2) 1,47,208 --- (3) 54 - 75 - 108B -- (4) 124 - 160 and these groups were usually seperated by a blank white blind which I would imagine would serve two purposes - (1) the driver would know when he came to end of his group and also a new display could be stuck over the blank in case of a new turning point being added
Although the blind was set out alpabetically I did notice that SHOREDITCH was out of place ?
I also noticed that the NOT IN SERVICE display was placed next to CATFORD GARAGE each time but the Plumstead version placed NIS at the end of a group.
