Daily diverted away from Latchett Road and Maybank Road because of the building of the new A406 and M11 which cut across Maybank Road and the 254 no longer approached South Woodford Station from Maybank Road ( now renamed Mulberry Way as it had made it confusing for the locals) because the Motorway cut through Maybank Road.
Rerouted via Latchett Road, Southend Road, Charlie Brown's Roundabout, Chigwell Road, Mulberry Way, Daisy Road and Cowslip Road returning via George Lane,
Chigwell Road, Charlie Brown Roundabout, Chigwell Road, Maybank Road, rejoining St Barnabas Road.
