Operating Garages

HH Hounslow Heath
Changeover at FELTHAM Town Tree Road or Feltham Road or at Staines
On Summer Sundays some meal breaks were done at Thorpe Park during the day.
When the route was at Hounslow Heath all meal breaks were done at Staines Bus Station daily. During the week days the school bus drivers coved the meal breaks with Metros.

AV Hounslow
The meal breaks were done at Kingston outside the bus garage - as all the duties kept the same bus - all the change overs were back at Hounslow

Comment from "Lofty" White

For some of the time the route was operated commercially - and not part of the LRT network. (None of the photos of Westlink vehicles have 'LRT Service signs'. I am not sure when this started - could have 'D day - 25/10/86 - when the Sunday service became a SCC tendered route - or possibly 27/6/87 - when the Kingston routes were tendered. It came back into the TfL fold on 29/6/02 - when TGM were awarded a short 1 year contract - after Westlink de-registered the route.
